Camborne Music Festival was founded in 1970, superseding the original Wesley Eisteddfod. It is a charity run by volunteers, giving local musicians from across Cornwall the opportunity to take part in a celebration of music, from accordion to woodwind. All entrants benefit from invaluable performing experience and receive constructive feedback from our experienced adjudicator, as well as having an enjoyable time at our friendly festival!
The festival takes place at Centenary Methodist Church (pink chapel opposite the top of Trelowarren Street). There are recently refurbished warm-up rooms available, plus refreshments and facilities including accessible toilets and a lift.
Results from our 2017 Festival are available here. We will start accepting 2018 entries in summer 2018 and will again post the syllabus online. As previously, entries can be made with our online system ‘Run my Festival‘.
